The power distribution network of Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province uses prefabricated construction for the first time

At 10 o'clock in the morning of November 17, as the last section of prefabricated cable pipe was slowly hoisted and unloaded into the pipeline, the 110kv Dongpei substation power pipe trench maintenance project in Shangdang Town, Dantu District was completed. This is the first time that Zhenjiang City has used "fabricated" technology for power distribution network construction.

According to the relevant person in charge of Zhenjiang Huarui Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. at the construction site, manual pouring is often used in the construction of traditional cable piping, which requires construction personnel to carry out large-scale civil excavation on site. At the same time, the pouring process is extremely vulnerable to weather, rain and other factors, resulting in uncontrollable construction period and waste of raw materials. Taking the 110kv Dongpei substation power pipe trench maintenance project as an example, the "old method" manual on-site pouring has a construction period of at least 10 days. But now, the construction workers "moved the site into the factory" and finished the cable piping in the workshop ahead of time. Now the on-site construction only takes 3 hours.

This time, after comprehensively considering the construction period and cost, Zhenjiang Power Supply Company introduced prefabricated technology for power distribution network construction, and mass-applied the prefabricated components produced in the "factory", which is environmentally friendly, speeds up the construction period, and saves costs.

Zhenjiang Enterprise Jianhua Building Materials Group provided prefabricated cable ducts for this power grid transformation. The company is the first building assembly parts company in Zhenjiang City that has passed the certification of the National Housing Industrialization Base. It is understood that the prefabricated pipe body has completed all the manufacturing processes in the Jianhua Building Materials Factory. After the on-site construction and excavation are completed, they will be directly transported to the construction site and lifted and unloaded into the channel. Finally, all the installation projects are completed by the unified fixing of the embedded bolts. The overall construction adopts the method of laying one section and covering one section with soil. On-site construction volume and waiting time are reduced by nearly 50%, and it is completely unaffected by weather and surrounding environment, greatly improving construction efficiency. The most important thing is that the completed prefabricated pipe structure and the pipeline are "closely connected", and the construction quality has reached expectations.

Information from the Housing and Construction Department of Zhenjiang City shows that in recent years, Zhenjiang City has been focusing on the promotion of prefabricated buildings, finished housing, and "steel-modular" organizational structures in comparison with the latest national "Assembled Building Evaluation Standards. By this year, prefabricated buildings in Zhenjiang accounted for more than 50% of new buildings.
