The first prefabricated steel structure high-rise residential building in Shanxi Province is topped

With the continuous acceleration of the development of prefabricated buildings in Shanxi Province, a number of prefabricated buildings have emerged. On November 21st, news came from the Steel Structure Division of Shanxi Construction Investment Group that the first prefabricated steel structure high-rise residential project in Shanxi Province, Jinjian Yingxi Garden No. 1 Building, achieved the topping of the main steel structure.

The project is located at the intersection of Taiyu Road and Xutan East Street. As the first prefabricated steel structure high-rise residential building in Shanxi Province, it consists of 34 floors above ground and 2 floors underground. The total height of the building is 99.8 meters, and the overall assembly rate is 94%. The evaluation result of the prefabricated building is AAA grade, and efforts are made to build the “fabricated steel structure” residential demonstration project in the province.

Different from traditional concrete pouring, steel beams, steel columns, wall panels and other originally poured housing components are assembled together at the construction site like building blocks. The box-shaped steel structure beams and columns used in the project are all produced in Shanxi Construction Industry Modern Park. It is reported that the prefabricated steel structure residential building has the advantages of environmental protection, energy saving, fire prevention and corrosion protection, short construction period, good thermal insulation effect, and good seismic performance. It shortens the construction time and reduces construction waste by about 80% per square meter.
