The rapid development of prefabricated buildings in Hefei, Anhui Province, more than 1.5 million square meters of new projects will be started by the end of the year

On November 16, the reporter learned from the Hefei Urban and Rural Construction Bureau that the development of prefabricated buildings in Hefei has entered the fast lane. Currently, there are 28 prefabricated social housing projects under construction in the city, and it is expected that more than 1.5 million square meters of prefabricated social housing projects will start construction by the end of the year.

With the completion of bidding for prefabricated projects such as the second phase of Modian Homeland and the second phase of Xindian Garden, Hefei will usher in the "start wave" of prefabricated construction. These projects are constructed by developers in accordance with commercial housing standards, and the government's monetization repurchase model is implemented, bringing a new model for the development of Hefei prefabricated buildings. It is estimated that more than 1.5 million square meters of prefabricated social housing projects will start construction by the end of the year.

In recent years, Hefei has taken affordable housing as a breakthrough and focused on promoting prefabricated construction technology. There are 28 prefabricated affordable housing projects under construction in the city, with a total construction area of approximately 6 million square meters. Projects such as Binhu Patio Garden, Binhu Run Garden, Yaohai Lotus Pond Homeland Phase II, Economic Development Zone Kangli Garden, and Honglian Garden have received widespread attention from the masses.

Among them, the Ziyun Plaza project is located in the Economic Development Zone, with a construction area of about 70,000 square meters. It is the first large-scale prefabricated steel structure public construction project in Hefei that adopts the EPC general contracting model, with an assembly rate of more than 50%. Compared with the concrete structure system, the fabricated steel structure system has many advantages such as good seismic performance, light weight, fast construction speed, and recyclable resources.

It is understood that in October this year, the Science and Technology and Industrialization Development Center of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development held a technical exchange meeting on green building materials to help rural revitalization in Hefei. The meeting affirmed the pilot work of the livable prefabricated farm house developed and promoted by Changfeng County in the construction of beautiful villages. Changfeng County has explored the construction path of livable prefabricated farm houses under the guidance of the government, led by enterprises, farmers as the main body, and social participation, and successfully created the "Anhui sample, Changfeng model" for the construction of livable prefabricated farm houses.
