On November 10, the reporter learned from the new-type building industrialization technology exchange meeting hosted by Shenyang Urban and Rural Construction Bureau that as a national modern construction industry pilot city, a modern construction industry demonstration city and the first batch of prefabricated building demonstration cities, Shenyang has promoted a total of nearly 40 million square meters of prefabricated buildings.

Since 2009, Shenyang has promoted the development of modern construction industry with prefabricated buildings as the mainstay. At present, a complete supporting policy and technical standard system has been formed, a number of local standards and specifications have been incorporated into national standards, and a number of measures and experiences have been replicated and promoted throughout the country. In order to promote the industrialization of new buildings and accelerate industrial transformation and upgrading, major real estate development companies in Shenyang are actively exploring a prefabricated building system suitable for their own development. Among them, one of Vanke's projects is a demonstration project of modern construction industrialization in Shenyang, with a single assembly rate of 70%.

In order to continuously promote the high-quality and sustainable development of the modern construction industry, Shenyang City will take scientific research and development as the lead. Start with policy guidance, project supervision and improvement of standards. Taking prefabricated buildings as the starting point, the traditional construction mode is gradually transformed from the "qualification + subcontracting + migrant workers" model to a new construction model of "factory production + mechanized construction + information management".
