The Department of Housing and Urban-rural Development of Hunan Province visited Changde City to investigate the development of the prefabricated construction industry

In order to accelerate the development of prefabricated buildings in the province, on October 16, the research team of the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Hunan Province came to Changde to investigate prefabricated construction projects and held a symposium.

At the symposium, the relevant person in charge of the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau of Changde City gave a detailed report on the progress of prefabricated construction in Changde City.

According to reports, the structural types of prefabricated buildings in Changde include PC structure and steel structure; engineering categories include public buildings and residential buildings, such as schools, hospitals, office buildings, factories, underground integrated pipe corridors, real estate development projects and rural collective construction communities. At the end of 2016, Changde City built the first phase 1 project of the PC component production base in the High-tech Industrial Park, and officially put it into production in April 2017. Up to now, Changde City has built 5 prefabricated construction bases with a total annual production capacity of about 5 million square meters. There are 29 prefabricated construction projects completed and under construction, with a construction area of 1,989,300 square meters, including 9 projects in 2020, with a construction area of 530,200 square meters.

The research team listened carefully to the report on the development of the prefabricated construction industry in Changde City, and put forward requirements for the development of the prefabricated construction industry in Changde City: Relevant departments should plan the development layout of the prefabricated construction industry, optimize services, accelerate technological innovation, do a good job in personnel training and information management, and better promote the transformation and development of the construction industry.
