The prefabricated construction area of Fuzhou City ranked first in Fujian Province for three consecutive years

The reporter learned from the Fuzhou Urban and Rural Construction Bureau that recently, Fuzhou City was recognized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development as one of the second batch of prefabricated construction model cities in the country. This marks that the prefabricated construction industry in Fuzhou has achieved a leap from nothing to a national demonstration.

In recent years, Fuzhou has continued to promote the development of prefabricated buildings in order to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the traditional construction industry, cultivate new economic growth points. Since 2016, Fuzhou City has taken the lead in promulgating relevant documents for the promotion of prefabricated buildings in the province, and established a leading group for accelerating the development of prefabricated buildings to strengthen the organization, coordination and guidance of the development of prefabricated buildings in the city.

In order to do a good job in the demonstration of prefabricated pilot projects, Fuzhou City will use Fuzhou Sanzhong Binhai Campus and Binhai New City Resettlement Housing Phase III (Shuanglong New City) as demonstration sites. By holding prefabricated building construction site observation meetings, construction project quality and safety standardization on-site observation meetings, etc., we will give full play to the role of demonstration and leadership.

In recent years, the construction area of prefabricated buildings in Fuzhou City has been increasing. It was 910,000 square meters in 2017, 2.46 million square meters in 2018, and 2.59 million square meters in 2019, ranking first in the province for three consecutive years.
