Heilongjiang Province Prefabricated Building Propaganda Class Opens in Mudanjiang City

On October 28, Mudanjiang Municipal Housing and Urban-rural Development Bureau organized a prefabricated building presentation. Nearly 200 people from counties (cities) and districts housing construction bureaus and municipal urban investment companies, municipal quality supervision station as well as technicians from various aspects of construction, survey and design, drawing review, construction, and acceptance of projects under construction, as well as technicians from various manufacturing enterprises related to prefabricated construction participated in the training. 

According to the staff of Mudanjiang Municipal Housing and Urban-rural Development Bureau, the prefabricated buildings in Mudanjiang started late and are still in the initial stage, but they have great potential for development. There is only one enterprise in Mudanjiang City that specializes in the production and construction of steel structures for prefabricated buildings. There are four light steel prefabricated component production lines that meet the production requirements of prefabricated components below 7 floors, with an annual production capacity of 60,000 tons. Due to insufficient market demand, they are basically in a state of shutdown. In 2019, it successfully declared the provincial prefabricated construction production base. In addition, there are 4 steel structure production and construction enterprises over 10,000 tons. In order to promote the development of prefabricated buildings, at the end of 2019, the Mudanjiang Municipal Government officially issued the "Implementation Opinions of Mudanjiang City on Promoting the Development of Prefabricated Buildings", which is currently being vigorously promoted and implemented.

The main purpose of this event is to further popularize the knowledge of prefabricated buildings, increase the awareness of prefabricated buildings in various regions, and strengthen technical exchanges and cooperation in prefabricated buildings. Create a good atmosphere for accelerating the development of prefabricated buildings throughout the city and increase the coverage of prefabricated buildings. According to the requirements of the Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, relying on the national and Heilongjiang prefabricated construction industry bases, a prefabricated building propaganda group was established to carry out prefabricated building propaganda activities.

The promotion of prefabricated buildings is conducive to greatly reducing the energy resource consumption in the construction process. Reduce the impact of environmental pollution caused by the construction process. Improve labor productivity and shorten the comprehensive construction cycle by 25%-30%.
