Dingzhou City, Hebei Province: newly built prefabricated buildings of 195,200 square meters, accounting for 25.99%

Since the beginning of this year, the Dingzhou Municipal Housing and Urban-rural Construction Bureau has strictly implemented relevant provincial and municipal policies and accelerated the development of energy-saving and green buildings in Dingzhou City. The proportion of green buildings and prefabricated buildings in new urban buildings has increased significantly.

One is to strictly implement energy-saving standards. Earnestly implement the "Hebei Province Regulations on Promoting the Development of Green Buildings", strictly enforce green building standards, increase inspections and supervision, and all new civil buildings within the urban construction area of Dingzhou City will be constructed in accordance with green building standards above one star. The second is to actively carry out training. Organize the "Prefabricated Building Technology and Passive Ultra-low Energy Green Building Technology Training Conference" to conduct technical training for the development, construction, design, and supervision units of the city. The third is to increase publicity. Adopt exhibition boards, banners, networks and other forms to publicize policies related to building energy efficiency and green buildings in a wide range and multiple perspectives, popularize common sense of energy saving and green building, cultivate good habits of energy saving and low carbon, and promote the application of new building energy saving technologies.

Up to now, the completed area of newly built buildings in Dingzhou City is 128,600 square meters. Among them, the completed area of green buildings was 118,000 square meters, accounting for 91.76%. Newly built civil buildings of 751,100 square meters, of which 195,200 square meters of prefabricated buildings, accounting for 25.99%, completed ahead of schedule the task of new green buildings in the province’s cities and towns accounting for 85% of the newly built building area and prefabricated buildings accounting for 20% of the urban new building area.
