An office meeting of the leading group to promote the development of prefabricated buildings was held in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province

On October 20th, Ganzhou City held an office meeting of the Municipal Leading Group for Promoting the Development of Prefabricated Buildings. The leaders of 13 member units including the Municipal Housing and Construction Bureau, the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, and the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology participated in the meeting.

The meeting collectively learned the "Opinions on Accelerating the Industrialization of New Buildings" issued by 9 departments including the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the "Implementation Opinions on Further Promoting the Development of Prefabricated Buildings" issued by the municipal government.

The meeting notified the current status of the development of Ganzhou prefabricated buildings, and made work arrangements for the next step in the construction of Ganzhou’s prefabricated building model cities and the implementation of the Municipal Government’s "Implementation Opinions."

The meeting emphasized that vigorously promoting prefabricated construction is an important decision and deployment made by the Party Central Committee and the State Council. For Ganzhou City, it will help promote the implementation of the concept of green ecological civilization construction, promote the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry, and promote the construction of a high-quality development demonstration zone in the revolutionary old district of Ganzhou City. In 2016, Ganzhou was listed as a pilot city for prefabricated buildings in Jiangxi Province, in 2019 it was listed as a pilot city for steel structure prefabricated residential construction in Jiangxi Province, and this year was listed as a national prefabricated building model city by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. We will move from a pilot in the province to a national demonstration, with greater responsibilities, higher requirements and heavier tasks.

The meeting pointed out that after several years of development, Ganzhou's prefabricated building structure system has become more abundant, supporting technologies have gradually matured, base construction has been steadily advanced, and the market prospect has become increasingly broad. But at the same time, the ideological understanding is still not in place, the departmental coordination mechanism is still not smooth enough, the policy implementation is still not strong enough, and the prefabricated construction industry chain is still not perfect.

The meeting requested that all member units closely follow the national prefabricated model city construction, earnestly implement the "Implementation Opinions" issued by the municipal government, grasp the new situation, new tasks, and new requirements, and coordinate the development of prefabricated buildings. First, we must conscientiously understand the spirit of relevant national, provincial, and municipal documents, and implement them in light of actual conditions. The second is to compare the "Implementation Opinions" issued by the municipal government, combine department responsibilities, refine measures, and share policy dividends. The third is to strengthen departmental work linkage and information sharing, increase policy publicity and guidance, and do a good job of counterpart assistance to prefabricated construction enterprises. The fourth is to prepare for the city's prefabricated building development work site promotion meeting and business training meeting.
