Huaibei City, Anhui Province Makes More Efforts to Accelerate the High-quality Development of Prefabricated Buildings

Since the beginning of this year, Huaibei City has conscientiously implemented the national, provincial and municipal decisions and deployments on green buildings and prefabricated buildings, accelerated the development of green buildings, vigorously developed prefabricated buildings, and supported the construction industry to save energy and reduce consumption and to innovate in construction methods. Promoting the green development of urban and rural housing construction and the conversion of new and old kinetic energy has achieved remarkable results.

One is to optimize the top-level design. In July 2020, the municipal level issued "Several Measures to Further Promote the Development of Prefabricated Buildings" to refine the incentive measures for land, finance, and finance. At the same time, set up special reward funds, simplify the bidding process, mobilize the polarity of all parties, and jointly promote the development of prefabricated buildings.

The second is to increase promotion and application. Encourage project units to give priority to the use of prefabricated construction technology. Three projects including Leishan Community and Zhonghu Mingyue, totaling 273,000 square meters, are constructed using prefabricated construction methods. Prefabricated buildings accounted for 19.70% of the newly built building area, and the provincial application target of 15% was completed ahead of schedule.

The third is to highlight demonstration and guidance. Carry out pilot demonstration projects in shantytown renovation and municipal infrastructure projects to play a guiding and promoting role. The Xinbei Garden (Phase I) Shantytown Renovation Project was awarded the "Provincial Green Building and Prefabricated Building Demonstration Project", and it received 1.18 million subsidies from the provincial finance.

The fourth is to strengthen industrial support. Introduce upstream and downstream enterprises to land and accelerate the development of prefabricated industrial clusters. Successfully built China Coal Yuanda, China Metallurgical (Huaihai), Kangmei Green Building Industrial Park and other benchmark enterprises, with an annual output of 300,000 cubic meters of concrete precast parts, 200,000 cubic meters of ALC boards, and 200,000 square meters of system energy-saving doors and windows.
