"The pillars of state-owned enterprises-prefabricated housing to promote high-quality development in the Bay Area" event kicked off on September 25 at the Pearl River Mile Garden Project Department of China Twenty Metallurgical Group. More than 50 people from the construction department, design, construction, and supervision of Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai City experienced the charm of "prefabricated buildings" on site.

Prefabricated building refers to a building that transfers a large amount of on-site work from traditional construction methods to the factory, where the building components and accessories (such as floor slabs, wall panels, stairs, balconies, etc) are processed in the factory, and transported to the construction site, and assembled and installed on-site through reliable connections.

According to reports, the Pearl Light Mileage Garden project has established a quality management system suitable for the construction of prefabricated buildings from the beginning. From the planning of the green building design process to the implementation stage of the green construction process, the application of new technologies, new materials, and new methods are carried out around the process of prefabricated buildings. Start from the design source to solve the earthquake resistance, leakage, cracking and other issues that people are concerned about.

In addition to the "prefabricated" building model, another important component of the Pearl River Mile Garden technological innovation is the monitoring system covering the entire project, which is called the "smart brain". Including remote video monitoring subsystem, dust and noise visualized remote monitoring subsystem, tower crane safety monitoring management subsystem, tower crane video safety auxiliary subsystem, construction hoist safety monitoring management subsystem and portable border protection subsystem.

Through this "smart brain", the project department has realized real-time monitoring of construction machinery and remote monitoring of important locations and key nodes on the construction site. As well as the numerical monitoring and early warning linkage of dust, noise, wind speed, PM2.5, etc., special personnel "brushing face" control special operation equipment such as lifts and tower cranes, and timely alarms for safety hazards such as untimely maintenance and easy failure of safety devices.
