Luliang City, Shanxi Province Holds Prefabricated Building Promotion Meeting

On September 29, Luliang City held a prefabricated building promotion meeting to arrange and deploy the next step to vigorously develop prefabricated buildings.

The meeting pointed out that vigorously developing prefabricated buildings is a specific action to implement national, provincial, and municipal energy-saving and consumption-reducing requirements in the field of housing and urban-rural construction, and it is also an inevitable requirement for the implementation of important achievements in ecological civilization construction. Since the State Council, provinces and municipalities have successively issued the "Implementation Plan for Vigorously Developing Prefabricated Buildings", the municipal and county housing construction departments have incorporated the development of prefabricated buildings into the urban planning and construction management work supervision and evaluation index system and the energy-saving target evaluation system of the county (city, district) government. At present, Luliang City has built three prefabricated building production bases in Northwest Shanxi, Detong Bridge in Shanxi, and Jianhua Building Materials, with a designed production capacity of more than 200,000 cubic meters, accounting for one-seventh of Shanxi Province.

The meeting requested that all parties in the housing construction industry should understand the promotion of prefabricated buildings from the perspective of ecological civilization construction, put prefabricated buildings in a prominent position, and create a safe, reliable, energy-saving and environmentally friendly production and living environment for the people. All relevant units should strengthen the approval management of the prefabricated construction links, scientifically and rationally arrange prefabricated construction projects, and strive to make Luliang an influential new highland for the prefabricated construction industry in China.

After the meeting, the participants gathered to observe the production workshop of Shanxi Provincial Construction Investment Shanxi Northwest Construction Industrial Park.
