In the first half of 2022, the green building area of Inner Mongolia will reach 11.5881 million square meters

In order to implement regulations and policies such as the "Implementation Opinions of the General Office of the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on Strengthening Building Energy Efficiency and Green Building Development", the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Department of the Autonomous Region has fully implemented the new development concept. Deeply implement the carbon peak and carbon neutral vision, and promote the high-quality development of green buildings in the region. In the first half of 2022, a total of 1,042 green building projects have passed the construction drawing review in the whole district, reaching 11.5881 million square meters.

Among them, the green building area of Hohhot City and Xilin Gol League exceeds 2 million square meters, Chifeng City and Tongliao City exceed 1 million square meters, and the green building area of the four league cities accounts for more than 69% of the total area of the district. There are 56 renewable energy building application projects in the region, covering 454,700 square meters. The promotion and application area of green building materials in the whole district reached 3.135 million square meters.

In the next step, the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Department of the Autonomous Region will increase its efforts to improve the whole-process supervision mechanism for green buildings, and promote the certification, promotion and application of renewable energy buildings and green building materials. At the same time, do a good job in the training and publicity of the "Green Building Evaluation Standards" and other norms, increase the proportion of star-rated green buildings, and promote the full implementation of green building standards in new buildings.
