The first prefabricated industrial park project of China Energy Construction Prefabricated Construction Industry Development Co., Ltd. settled in Badong

On August 8, the prefabricated construction industrial park and supporting wharf in Badong County with a total investment of about 2.4 billion yuan officially started. This is the largest investment project introduced by the county so far, and it also marks an important step in Badong's green industry supported by river-sea combined transportation.

Prefabricated buildings refer to the transfer of a large number of on-site operations in traditional construction methods to factories, where building components and accessories (such as floors, wall panels, stairs, balconies, etc.) are processed and fabricated, and then transported to the construction site. Buildings assembled and installed on site through reliable connections can minimize the generation of construction waste and are the only way for the construction industry to achieve "green carbon reduction".

According to reports, the project includes "one park, one mine and one wharf", that is, a prefabricated construction industrial park, a building materials industry comprehensive development project processing area and a general logistics terminal. The prefabricated industrial park and building materials industry comprehensive development project is invested and constructed by China Energy Construction Prefabricated Construction Industry Development Co., Ltd., Hubei Port Group Co., Ltd. and China Energy Construction Gezhouba Road and Bridge Company, with an investment scale of about 1.66 billion yuan. The prefabricated industrial park covers an area of about 249 mu. Relying on the advantages of local waterway transportation and raw materials, it will create an industrial cluster for the development of the whole prefabricated industrial chain. The comprehensive development project of building materials industry covers an area of about 163 acres, and is connected and transported by a long-distance belt conveyor and pipe gallery of nearly 10 kilometers, which greatly improves the transportation capacity. At the same time, the construction of the general logistics terminal in the Dongyukou operation area along the Yangtze River was also started. The planned area is about 185.3 mu, with 2 3,000-ton berths and 2 2,000-ton berths planned and designed, with a designed annual throughput of 7.6 million tons and an investment of about 777 million yuan.

Ping'an, chairman of China Energy Construction Prefabricated Construction Industry Development Co., Ltd., said that this project is the first prefabricated industrial park project that China Energy Construction has promoted four integrations of "cross-border integration, element integration, industrial integration, and regional integration". The park will build an intelligent ecological park, a green low-carbon park, a digital twin park, a 5G application park and a green smart mine. It is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2024.

Du Jun, chief engineer of the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau of Badong County, said that after the project is completed and put into operation, it is expected to achieve an annual output value of 300 to 500 million yuan and create about 1,000 new related jobs. And drive the coordinated development of multiple upstream and downstream industries, and promote the hinterland of Badong Dashan to connect the river to the sea and the world.

Wang Xiwei, general manager of the Provincial Port Group Co., Ltd., said that the implementation of the project will help Enshi Prefecture to speed up the construction of the "Two Mountains" practice innovation demonstration zone. It is an important starting point for building a river-ocean intermodal transportation corridor, and it is also the best path for the integrated development of industries and cities, which will surely and effectively boost the high-quality economic development of Badong.
