The largest prefabricated project in Hubei Province - Sino-French City Xintian Huanjian Community is fully capped

On August 3, with the last concrete pouring, the largest prefabricated project in Hubei Province - Sino-French Eco-city Xintian Huanjian Community was fully capped. The project will benefit the residents of three villages, Xintian Village, Tanghe Village and Xiajiazui, and provide more than 5,000 residents with an integrated green and smart community. On-site building block assembly takes 5 days to build one floor.

Wu Qixiu, manager of the Caidian infrastructure project of the Urban Investment and Operation Company of the China Construction Third Engineering Bureau, introduced that the Xintian project is divided into 4 construction areas and 18 plots, consisting of residences, kindergartens, neighborhood centers and supporting businesses. The above-ground prefabricated building area of the project accounts for 82.6%, of which 8 buildings have a single assembly rate of over 50%, and 33 buildings have an assembly rate of over 30%.

"After completion, our currently capped 45 buildings in the North District can provide 1,058 residences for residents. After the entire project is completed, it can provide more than 8,000 residences for residents of Caidian District." Wu Qixiu said.

"The project department actively promotes the practice of standardization, factoryization, and assembly at the construction site. The high-rise adopts a combination system of climbing frame + aluminum mold + assembly. It takes 5 days to build a floor, which saves 2 days compared with the traditional construction process." Pan Dong, Manager of Xintian Construction Project Department of China Construction Third Engineering Bureau, shared the project construction experience on site.

Prefabricated buildings are known for their energy saving, environmental protection and shortened construction period. When the components are transported to the construction site, how can they be perfectly combined with the on-site process? For example, Pan Dong said that the climbing frame is an indispensable tool in building construction. The traditional installation method requires drilling holes in the building to install beams, which will cause damage to the finished wall. The project department optimized the technological process, pre-embedded the high-strength nuts in the structural parts, and when the climbing frame was climbing or dismantling, the beam-side cantilever frame and the nuts could be directly fixed. This not only optimizes the process, reduces the overall weight of the frame, but also avoids damage to components caused by punching.

The first batch of deliveries this year can benefit more than a thousand villagers

Xintian also built the community to install barrier-free passages, intelligent charging piles, intelligent security systems, high-altitude parabolic monitoring and other facilities. And set up a "neighborhood center" to provide the villagers with commercial, cultural, sports, education, health and other services, and effectively improve the villagers' living conditions and living environment.

It is understood that Xintian Huanjian Community is a key livelihood project of Sino-French Wuhan Ecological Demonstration City, and it is also the largest prefabricated project in Hubei Province. At present, the 45 residential buildings in the North District have been fully capped. It is expected that the 12 buildings on the 12# and 14# plots and the basements and ancillary businesses within the area will be delivered early this year, which will benefit about 1,000 villagers.
