On July 28, the Guangdong Construction Industry High-Quality Development Research Group went to Foshan to conduct research. This is the first stop of this survey. The research team had an in-depth discussion with Foshan Housing and Urban-rural Development Bureau and related units. At the symposium, Liu Wangsheng, chief engineer of Foshan Housing and Urban-rural Development Bureau, introduced in detail the latest progress and development plan of the high-quality development of Foshan's construction industry. According to reports, as a national advanced manufacturing base and an important manufacturing center in Guangdong, Foshan has nurtured various mature industrial clusters. For example, Dali Town Aluminum Profile Industry Cluster, Nanzhuang Town Ceramic Industry Cluster, Longjiang Town Furniture Industry Cluster, Shunde Home Appliance Industry Cluster, etc. Combining the advantages of the local "home industry", Foshan has extended the concept of prefabricated buildings to decoration, decoration, furniture and home appliances with the help of new opportunities to promote prefabricated buildings. To create a high-quality residential Foshan scheme of "industrial construction + optional hard decoration + fully independent home", providing a "Foshan scheme" for the construction industry.

At the symposium, Zhao Yuanchou, a specially-appointed expert, professor-level senior engineer and founder of Modiangou Intelligent Technology (Dongguan) Co., Ltd., combined with his years of experience in the construction industry, made an in-depth analysis of the problems encountered in the process of industrialization transformation and intelligent upgrading of the construction industry. He expounded the ideas of "integrated design, factory-site integration, and on-site factoryization", and said that the industrialization of new buildings is a systematic project, which should be planned as a whole, top-level design should be done well, and multi-mode comprehensive promotion, coordination and common development. Distinguished expert, Professor Feng Weimin from the School of Civil and Transportation Engineering, Guangdong University of Technology, conducted in-depth research focusing on key issues such as prefabricated buildings and intelligent construction.

After the symposium, the research team also conducted an on-site investigation of the Poly Grand Hyatt project site. According to reports, the proportion of prefabricated construction of the project reached 51%.
