Taizhou's urban and rural construction has received provincial subsidies of over 100 million yuan

Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Finance and the Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development jointly issued a budget target for the provincial-level urban and rural construction and development special fund in 2022. Taizhou received a total budget target of 113.84 million yuan, a record high.

It is understood that the special funds will be used to support the shaping of high-quality green open spaces in cities, urban and rural garbage classification and management, shaping of urban characteristics, comprehensive improvement of urban waterfront space environment, construction of earthquake-resistant reinforcement projects, and the development of green buildings have further improved the level of urban and rural construction in Taizhou City.

In the shaping of high-quality green open spaces in the city, special funds are mainly used for the construction of pocket parks and urban greenways, including Jiangyan Avenue landscaping renovation project, Ginkgo Plaza, Dahua Waterfront Park, the northeast side garden at the intersection of Zhanqian Road and Qingnian Road, and the “five points and one line” landscaping improvement project for the Provincial Games.

In terms of urban and rural waste classification and treatment, the special funds are mainly used for the construction of new residential waste "four-classification" communities, Taizhou waste classification collection back-end treatment project (construction decoration waste project), Taizhou fly ash landfill and other projects.

In the shaping of urban characteristics, the special funds are mainly used for the construction of the traffic improvement project (space corridor) of the Taizhou Convention and Exhibition Center, the first phase of the Xinghua Zhaoyang Cemetery, the Wenfeng Tower in Xinghua City, and the second phase of the space quality improvement project of the Xiaoqiaogang in Jingjiang City.

In the comprehensive improvement of the urban waterfront space environment, the special funds are mainly used for the improvement and renovation of the Wangying River.

In the construction of earthquake-resistant reinforcement projects, the special funds are mainly used for the upgrading and reconstruction of fixed emergency shelters in Xinghua City and the construction of emergency shelters in some towns and villages in Taixing City.

In terms of green building development, the special funds will support local governments to carry out high-quality green building demonstrations, and promote scientific and technological innovation and the integrated transformation and application of achievements. One-time subsidies will be given to demonstration projects in high-quality green buildings, ultra-low energy/near-zero energy buildings, new building industrialization, and renewable energy building applications. A one-time subsidy will be given to the existing buildings to carry out green energy-saving renovation projects; support will be given to the demonstration projects for the promotion and application of key technology innovations in the construction field that have been reviewed and determined.

In terms of epidemic prevention of property and construction enterprises, the special funds will be used to provide appropriate subsidies for the purchase of epidemic prevention materials and disinfection services for properties and construction enterprises that undertake property community management and construction site management during the epidemic prevention and control period.
