China Construction Fifth Bureau organized and observed new prefabricated buildings

New prefabricated buildings lead the new trend of green construction. On July 22, as the representative work of China Construction Fifth Engineering Bureau to explore the new prefabricated building system, the Liantang School Project in Yanghu Area organized nearly 100 professional and technical personnel to investigate and observe the site.

According to Li Jun, Executive General Manager of China Construction Technology Hunan Co., Ltd., the Liantang School Project in Yanghu Area, as the first batch of green construction pilot projects in Hunan Province, realized the first application of high-assembly rate frame structure (fabricated technology) in school construction, and explored a new prefabricated building system with "less support and no support formwork".

Technological innovation goes further. As an important pilot of the new prefabricated building system, Building No. 8 in the area adopts a fully prefabricated design of structural components, and uses six new construction technologies such as large-size laminated slabs without joints and no reinforcement, closed stirrups, and visual grouting. The assembly rate is 81.6%, and the standardization rate is 93%. Green construction goes one step further. Compared with the traditional process, the construction waste discharge is reduced by 73% compared with the control standard, reaching the AA-level green prefabricated building standard and reducing the construction cost.
