The proportion of newly-added prefabricated buildings in Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province ranks first in the province

On July 15, Zhuzhou City successively held the first and fourth membership meeting of the Prefabricated Intelligent Construction Industry Association, and the work promotion meeting on energy conservation, environmental protection and green prefabricated construction industry chain. Since 2021, Zhuzhou City has deepened the working mechanism of "joint party committee + chain office + association", giving full play to the role of party building in leading government promotion and enterprise linkage, and focusing on improving the core competitiveness of prefabricated buildings and the entire industry chain. In response to the lack of sub-items and no market guide price for prefabricated building component products in Zhuzhou City, the Prefabricated Intelligent Construction Industry Association conducted in-depth market research and released the PC component information guide price, which provided policy guarantees for the orderly development of the industry. At the same time, a group of industry experts were reviewed and selected, and an expert committee of Zhuzhou prefabricated buildings intelligent construction industry was established to provide intellectual support for the high-quality development of prefabricated buildings in Zhuzhou.

In 2021, the total urban construction area of Zhuzhou City will be 6.1203 million square meters, of which the prefabricated building area will be 3.0815 million square meters, accounting for 50.35%. The total construction area of the downtown area is 4.7439 million square meters, of which the prefabricated building area is 3.0387 million square meters, accounting for 64.05%. The proportion of newly-added prefabricated buildings has ranked first in the province for two consecutive years.

At present, Zhuzhou City is actively applying for a pilot city for intelligent construction, a pilot city for government procurement to support green building materials to improve building quality, to strive for policies, funds and resources for the high-quality development of the green prefabricated building industry, and to promote the realization of the "dual carbon" goal through building industrialization.
