Prefabricated and modular! The hoisting of the first module in Tianjin Petrochemical Nangang was successfully completed

On July 9, at the Tianjin Nangang ethylene construction site in Tianjin Nangang Industrial Zone, Petrochemical Fourth Construction Company used a 400-ton crawler crane to hoist the first module into place at one time. Successfully achieved a leap-forward breakthrough in the construction of "assembled and modularized" mode.

The overall length of the hoisting module is 18 meters, 6 meters wide and 11 meters high, with a total weight of 56.8 tons.

In the process, the steel structure is first assembled into pieces. After the piece structure is erected, the two sides of the bottom layer and the top beams are connected, and the remaining bottom beams are installed after stabilization.

Then carry out the first layer of pipe support installation and pipe laying, the second and third layers and so on, and then carry out the support arm, slot box, labor protection installation.

Finally, the steel structure is capped.

Before laying the pipeline, conduct a hydraulic test on the pipeline, and then conduct a second hydraulic test after installation.

Finally, the welding seam concealment, paint repair and heat preservation work are carried out on the module.

On the evening of July 8, the first module slowly drove out of the gate of the new wing module factory and was transported to the construction area of the 6# pipe gallery. The whole process took only 55 minutes.

The "fabricated and modular" construction is the first of its kind in Sinopec Group. It is a breakthrough in the integration of the steel structure of the pipe gallery and the process piping in the prefabricated factory, which lays a solid foundation for the company to explore a new mode of engineering construction.
