Hainan Province has made it clear that the proportion of prefabricated buildings will reach more than 95% in 2030

Recently, the Hainan Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development issued the "Hainan Province Prefabricated Building Industry Development Plan (2022~2030)", which clarifies that by 2030, the proportion of prefabricated buildings in the province will account for more than 95% of the newly built buildings, and the proportion of prefabricated steel structures in prefabricated buildings will reach 30%.

In order to solve the pain points and difficulties caused by the complex climatic characteristics and the seismic requirements of some high-intensity areas, the Hainan Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development proposed to develop a characteristic system of technical products with tropical buildings as the development characteristics. In accordance with the principle of "innovation-driven, wisdom-led", accelerate the innovation of science and technology and management methods in the prefabricated building industry, promote the application of intelligent technology in the whole process of the implementation of prefabricated buildings, and establish an information management platform and parts database for prefabricated building projects in Hainan Province. At the same time, promote the application of information technologies such as the Internet of Things and big data in the field of prefabricated buildings; vigorously develop intelligent manufacturing, promote the construction of digital workshops, smart factories, and smart parks, and carry out pilot demonstrations of intelligent manufacturing.

The Hainan Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development proposes that by 2025 and 2030, the added value of the province's prefabricated construction industry will reach 30 billion yuan and 50 billion yuan respectively. By 2030, the number of provincial prefabricated construction industry bases will reach 20. The construction of Jinjingang New Construction Industrial Park has begun to take shape, and a whole industrial chain covering R&D and design of prefabricated buildings, production of parts and components, intelligent construction, construction and installation has been initially formed. Continuously promote the transformation and upgrading of the traditional construction industry to a modern industry with advanced technology and a green industry with energy saving and emission reduction.

In addition, the Hainan Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development has clarified that various large-scale public buildings and service facilities such as transportation hubs and commerce will be constructed by prefabricated buildings on a large scale. At the same time, residential building projects will gradually adopt the prefabricated building construction method in an all-round way.
