Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province held a prefabricated building development promotion meeting

On the morning of June 12, the Bureau of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Xinzhou City organized the heads of the units and stations of the building energy conservation supervision departments in Xinfu District and Fanzhi County of Xinzhou City and the technical heads of 32 concrete enterprises within their jurisdiction to hold a prefabricated building development promotion meeting on the conference room on the second floor of the Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau. It preached the current national, provincial and municipal policies to vigorously develop prefabricated buildings and the current development status of prefabricated buildings in Xinzhou. 

The theme of the conference implements the spirit of the municipal party committee and government that "urban construction must be positioned with high standards, planned at a high level, and promoted with high quality, and new concepts and new requirements such as new development concepts, green and low-carbon, sponge cities, etc. must be incorporated into all fields of the entire planning, design and construction process". Further promote the development of prefabricated buildings in Xinzhou, focus on promoting the upgrading and transformation of the construction industry, comprehensively improve the quality of urban construction, and guide enterprises to design, produce, and install prefabricated buildings to transform and develop horizontally and then vertically. 

The promotion meeting invited Guo Changhong, director of Taiyuan Green Building and Sponge City Development Center, to explain the development policy, development, and management experience of prefabricated buildings in Taiyuan City, and put forward good suggestions for the development of prefabricated buildings in Xinzhou. Liu Qiang, an expert in prefabricated buildings in Shanxi Province and director of the Assembly Institute of Taiyuan Architectural Design and Research Institute, gave a detailed and vivid explanation of the national, provincial and Taiyuan policies to promote the development of prefabricated buildings, the construction technology and construction and installation process of prefabricated buildings, and the construction of typical demonstration projects of prefabricated buildings in the form of video projection. The participants read through the "Implementation Opinions on Further Accelerating the Development of Prefabricated Buildings in Xinzhou City (Discussion Draft)", solicited everyone's opinions and suggestions, and established a "WeChat Group for the Development of Prefabricated Construction Enterprises" for feedback.

By organizing this meeting, it aims to realize the prefabricated building development goals issued by the province and city, and let enterprises understand the economic and social benefits of the national prefabricated building policy and practice in the form of publicity, training and discussion.
