The first set of fully assembled subway station assembly equipment in China is used in Shenzhen City

On June 15, the assembly of the fifth ring components was successfully completed at Pingxi Station, the fourth phase of Shenzhen Metro Line 3. This marks the successful application of the first fully-fabricated subway station assembly technology and equipment in China in Shenzhen, and the subway station construction technology ushered in a revolution.

The prefabricated station is to divide the main structure of the station into many modules, which are prefabricated in the factory and then transported to the construction site to carry out the station construction like "building blocks". Such a construction "sharp tool" was jointly developed by China Railway Science and Industry Group and Shenzhen Branch of Guangzhou Metro Design and Research Institute.

According to the technical person in charge of China Railway Science and Industry Group, this set of prefabricated station construction equipment is the first to create a model with 3 working faces distributed in steps and 3 assembled machines synchronously constructing, which can greatly improve construction efficiency. For the first time, the entire ring cavity is designed as a top, middle and bottom 3-layer modular prefabricated part, which reduces the weight of a single component and adapts to flexible transportation within the city. Relying on the GPS high-precision positioning system, the precision, flexibility, efficiency and safety of the assembly and adjustment process of prefabricated components are realized, and the construction method of subway stations is innovated.

According to reports, compared with the traditional cast-in-place construction method, fully assembled construction can greatly improve construction efficiency, reduce construction risks, save steel consumption, and reduce the generation of construction waste. It is in line with the trend of green environmental protection and has broad application prospects.
