According to the prospectus previously disclosed by Vanke, the first phase of Vanke's 2022 green medium-term notes will be issued with an amount of 3 billion yuan in the current period, with an issuance period of 3 years, and it is planned to be used for the construction of green building-related projects.

The so-called green building refers to a high-quality building that saves resources, protects the environment, reduces pollution to the maximum extent, provides people with healthy, suitable and efficient use space, and maximizes the harmonious coexistence between man and nature during the whole life cycle of the building. 

Compared with traditional buildings, green buildings place more emphasis on harmonious coexistence with nature. Through scientific overall design, integrated technologies such as natural ventilation and lighting, low-energy-consumption building envelopes, new energy utilization, water recycling, and green building materials are adopted. Make more extensive use of natural resources, realize resource recycling, effectively reduce energy consumption, improve environmental quality and comfort, and help achieve the "dual carbon" goal.

Specifically, Vanke plans to develop seven construction projects including residential, commercial or kindergarten in Ningbo, Jinhua, Suzhou, Xuzhou, Qingdao and Chengdu. Except for the Emerald Yangtze River project, which is designed according to the green building three-star standard, the rest of the projects are designed according to the green building two-star standard.

Vanke said that in terms of land saving and outdoor environment, the site selection of the fundraising project is scientific and reasonable, and the site is controlled without pollution.
