Chongqing Housing and Urban-Rural Construction Committee investigates the construction industrialization and EPC project general contracting work in Liangjiang New Area

Recently, Dong Yong, member of the party group and deputy director of the Chongqing Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Construction Committee, led a team to Liangjiang New Area to investigate the construction industrialization and the general contracting of EPC projects. The heads of the Science and Technology Foreign Affairs Office, the Design Green Construction Office, the Quality Station, the Safety Management Station, the Technology Development Center, the Liangjiang New Area Construction Bureau, and China Machinery Zhonglian Engineering Co., Ltd. participated in the investigation.

Dong Yong and his entourage have conducted on-the-spot investigations on Lijia Experimental No. 2 Primary School, Yuelai Wisdom Island, and the infrastructure projects of the new semiconductor display industry cluster in Liangjiang New Area. They listened to the work reports of Liangjiang New Area Construction Bureau and China Machinery Zhonglian Engineering Co., Ltd., and held discussions with relevant units.

Dong Yong fully affirmed the relevant work of Liangjiang New Area and China Machinery Zoomlion in construction industrialization and general project contracting. He emphasized that construction industrialization and general project contracting are the directions for the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry to achieve high-quality development. It is necessary to fully understand its significance for implementing the "dual carbon" goal and promoting green development, and unswervingly promote related work. The first is to accelerate the improvement of the technical route of construction industrialization, carry out standardized design, and gradually form a safe, economical, applicable and stable prefabricated construction technology system. The second is to strengthen the leading role of design units in the general contracting of EPC projects, give full play to the advantages of technology, management and talents, and promote the innovation of engineering construction organization mode.
