On the morning of June 1, the consultation meeting on the prefabricated construction technology scheme in the design phase of the new T2 terminal building project of Hefei Xinqiao International Airport was held at the Municipal Urban and Rural Construction Bureau. Wang Rongcun, leader of the Municipal Urban and Rural Development Bureau, presided over the meeting, and the Bureau Industry Office, Hefei Xinqiao International Airport Co., Ltd., East China Architectural Design and Research Institute, and prefabricated building experts attended the meeting.

In order to implement the requirements of epidemic prevention and control, the Municipal Urban and Rural Construction Bureau actively serves the project construction, breaks the traditional supervision process, and adopts a combination of online and offline methods to provide reliable technical support for the scientific application of prefabricated construction technology. The meeting listened to the report of the construction unit and the design unit on the project's prefabricated building technical scheme and the calculation results of the assembly rate. Experts participating in the meeting reviewed the relevant materials, and after inquiries and discussions, formed relevant suggestions and opinions, and required relevant units to carry out supplementary and optimization work. Subsequently, Wang Rongcun emphasized that the Hefei Xinqiao International Airport T2 terminal project is an important landmark building in Anhui Province, and the concept of green and low-carbon development should be applied throughout the entire construction process. Applying prefabricated construction technology based on the principle of "assembly can be assembled", speeding up the high-quality construction of the project, adding a heavy touch to the development of prefabricated buildings in Hefei and even Anhui Province.

Hefei Xinqiao International Airport New T2 Terminal Project: Located in the northwest of Hefei City, about 31.8 kilometers away from the city center of Hefei. The total construction area of the project is about 350,000 square meters. According to the plan, after the project is completed, it will meet the development needs of 40 million passenger throughput, 350,000 tons of cargo and mail throughput, and 305,000 aircraft takeoffs and landings in 2030.
