The first BIM demonstration project in Jiangsu Province passed the verification

Recently, the Nanjing Municipal Construction Committee held the 2022 Nanjing BIM Demonstration Project Expert Review Meeting. After the expert review, the Modern Industrial Innovation Center passed the verification and became the first BIM demonstration project in Jiangsu Province to pass the verification.

The Modern Industrial Innovation Center is located in Jiangbei New District. It was listed as the first batch of BIM demonstration projects in Nanjing in June 2021, and passed the BIM intelligent review of construction drawings in October 2021. The project carried out design review in accordance with the "Technical Guidelines for BIM Design and Delivery of Construction Drawings of Construction Projects in Nanjing" and other standards, made full use of BIM technology, optimized in the planning stage, and carried out collision checks in the construction drawing stage. Clear height analysis, comprehensive management drawing, technical disclosure in the construction stage, and simulation through BIM + prefabricated technology to ensure the smooth progress of design and construction. The collaborative management platform centered on the BIM model greatly saves costs and improves management efficiency and project quality through multi-dimensional centralized participation and comprehensive application.

The expert group listened to the report of the application unit of the Modern Industrial Innovation Center project, reviewed the relevant materials, and agreed that the project met the verification standards. The BIM technology was fully applied in the design stage and actively promoted in the construction stage, which achieved certain social benefits and reached the demonstration level.

In addition, 7 projects including the G26 plot of Meizizhou Road in Jiangxinzhou have passed the review of BIM experts and are listed as BIM demonstration projects in Nanjing in 2022.
