The first civil prefabricated building demonstration project in Huizhou City, Vanke Shuangyuewan Garden District 4 in Huidong County has completed the design review and construction will start soon.

Prefabricated buildings refer to a construction method in which components are prefabricated in the factory and connected and installed on site. Prefabricated buildings are not only synonymous with construction speed, but also a powerful guarantee of construction quality.

The first civil prefabricated building demonstration project will start construction.

In order to encourage the development of prefabricated buildings, Huizhou City has issued the "Special Plan for Prefabricated Buildings in Huizhou City (2018-2025)" and "Implementation Opinions on Vigorously Developing Prefabricated Buildings in Huizhou City". The "Detailed Rules for the Implementation of Prefabricated Buildings in Huizhou City" is currently being prepared to stimulate social forces to construct prefabricated buildings.

The Vanke Shuangyue Bay Garden District 4 project located in Pinghai Town, Huidong County is a pilot project and will be the first civil prefabricated building demonstration project in our city. The project consists of 2 residential buildings with a total area of 66870.25 square meters for the implementation of prefabricated buildings, using prefabricated exterior wall panels, prefabricated laminated floor slabs, prefabricated stairs and prefabricated lightweight ceramsite concrete interior walls. At present, the design review of the four district projects has been completed, and construction will start soon.

A number of prefabricated construction production companies took root in Huizhou City.

In promoting the development of prefabricated buildings, Huizhou encourages enterprises to build high-standard production bases for prefabricated building parts. At present, there are 15 prefabricated construction production enterprises in the city. Among them, China Construction Steel Structure Guangdong Co., Ltd., Yauleewah Building Materials Huizhou Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Feili Green Board Co., Ltd. have been identified as the Guangdong Province Prefabricated Building Industry Demonstration Base. These three companies respectively produce steel structure products, prefabricated building reinforced concrete parts and components, and prefabricated decoration parts. China Construction Steel has built the country's first intelligent manufacturing production line for building steel structures, and introduced intelligent equipment such as 6-axis robots. The production line automatically completes core processes such as component cutting, handling, and welding, and realizes "unmanned" production.

In early September of this year, Huizhou City added a new steel-structure prefabricated construction production base. The steel structure prefabricated construction industrial production base project of Guangdong Rongshengye Hangxiao Steel Structure Co., Ltd., a strategic cooperative shareholding company of Hangxiao Steel Structure, located in Hengli Town, Huicheng District, has entered the construction stage. After this project is completed, it will mainly produce box columns and H-shaped steel beams in prefabricated steel structures.
