The first beam of the Baishazhou Avenue Reconstruction Project is being erected.

"Lifting!" With the order of Liu Yang, the on-site commander, at 22:58 on May 15th, the first prefabricated viaduct project in Wuhan ushered in key progress - the first steel-concrete composite beam of the rapid reconstruction project of Baishazhou Avenue was successfully hoisted into place, marking the opening of the rapid reconstruction project of Baishazhou Avenue The curtain on the construction of the superstructure.

Different from the traditional on-site construction methods such as steel bar binding and concrete pouring, all the upper structural components of the Baishazhou Avenue Rapid Transformation Project are processed and formed in the prefabricated beam yard, and then transported to the construction site for hoisting and splicing to form the main body of the bridge. According to the person in charge of the project department, the prefabricated bridge construction process has the advantages of standard component production, fast and convenient on-site installation, energy saving and environmental protection in construction, which not only saves construction time, but also ensures the quality of the project.

The length of the first hanging beam section is 33 meters, and the entire section weighs about 40 tons. In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the composite beam hoisting operation and not affect the traffic of vehicles inside and outside the Third Ring Road of Wuhan City, the project department of China Railway Bridge Bureau arranged the composite beam hoisting operation to be carried out at night, and more than 70 traffic coordinators and technicians on site cooperated with each other. .

The rapid reconstruction project of Baishazhou Avenue starts from Baisha Fourth Road in the north and ends at Qingling North Road in the south. It spans Baisha Fourth Road, Third Ring Road, Qingling Interchange Ramp, Lishui Road, Qingling River, and passes through the to-be-built Seibu High-speed Railway.

The project is located at the south gate of Wuhan. After the renovation, the whole process of Baishazhou Avenue will be connected via viaduct, which will improve the expressway system in the main urban area of Wuchang and further improve the traffic efficiency across the river in Wuchang.
