Prefabricated buildings help the construction of emergency projects for fever clinics and infectious wards of Hefei Binhu Hospital

The hospital project integrating the design and construction of emergency engineering for the infectious disease area and fever clinic of Hefei Binhu Hospital is a prefabricated building EPC (Engineering General Contracting) project. During the construction process, all parties overcame many difficulties and finally delivered it on schedule in just one month. The completion of this project fully demonstrated the advantages of rapid construction of prefabricated buildings, laying a solid foundation for Hefei to win the battle against the epidemic.

The project is a three-story fever clinic building and a three-story medical care building. The project cost is 30 million yuan, the contract construction period is 30 days, the structure type is fabricated light steel structure, and the total construction area is about 4290.67 square meters. The project is general contracted by Anhui Industrial Equipment Installation Co., Ltd., designed by China Zhongyuan International Engineering Co., Ltd., supervised by Anhui Construction Supervision Co., Ltd., and manufactured by Hefei Guorui Integrated Construction Technology Co., Ltd.

During the construction of the project, leaders at all levels, including the National Health Commission, Anhui Province, and Hefei City, went to the site to investigate and guide the work. In mid-January 2022, the infection ward and fever clinic emergency project was officially put into use after the completion and commissioning, and is currently playing an active role in the fight against the epidemic. The opening of the hospital is of great significance to strengthening the deployment of epidemic prevention and control in Hefei City and improving anti-epidemic rescue support, and has won unanimous praise from the health systems of Anhui Province and Hefei City.
