China's first AAA-level prefabricated near-zero energy swimming pool is expected to be put into operation in September

Recently, the main construction of Fengxi New Town Swimming Pool, the first AAA-level prefabricated near-zero energy consumption swimming pool in China, has been completed and is expected to be put into operation in September.

The swimming pool is located in the east of Hongji Road, the west of Diaoyutai Road, and the north of Park Street. It covers an area of about 31.7 acres and has a total construction area of about 10,600 square meters. The total investment is about 150 million yuan, and it consists of a 50-meter standard long pool, a 25-meter standard short pool, a children's paddling pool and a hot water pool.

It is understood that as early as the design stage, the swimming pool was awarded the "Near-Zero Energy Building" certificate issued by the China Building Energy Conservation Association. During the construction process, the concept of green and low-carbon was deeply "implanted", highlighting the application of renewable energy, resource recycling and intelligent management. At present, the project has entered the internal construction stage.

The swimming pool uses mid-deep geothermal technology. By drilling heat from 2,000 to 3,000 meters underground, and using geothermal energy cascade utilization and intelligent control technology, it can solve the three major heat source problems of swimming pools: 42% winter heating, 80% domestic hot water, and 100% swimming pool water heating, and achieve the low-carbon goal of heating and hot water systems. Using thin-film power generation, the integrated integrated high-efficiency thin-film photovoltaic modules on the roof of the swimming pool of 4,200 square meters are used to provide power for the operation of the venue, achieving an annual power generation capacity of about 630,000 kWh, which is more than 30% higher than the power generation capacity of conventional photovoltaic systems.

According to estimates, the swimming pool can save about 550,000 yuan in electricity bills, save about 329 tons of standard coal, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 879 tons every year.
