The Weihai International Economic and Trade Exchange Center project passed the review of the prefabricated building demonstration project in Shandong Province

On April 21, entrusted by the Shandong Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Weihai Municipal Construction Bureau organized experts to hold the Shandong Province Prefabricated Building Demonstration Project - Weihai International Economic and Trade Exchange Center Project Acceptance Meeting in the conference room of the Weihai International Economic and Trade Exchange Center Project Department.

The experts attending the meeting listened to the report of the project unit, conducted on-site surveys, and consulted relevant materials. After inquiries and discussions, the expert group agreed that the project met the requirements of the provincial prefabricated building demonstration project in 2019.

The project is located in the core area of Binhai New Town in the east of Weihai City, with a total investment of about 3.214 billion yuan and a construction area of about 252,600 square meters. The project adopts the overall structural layout of "pillow mountains and sea, waterfront core", and integrates the design elements of "sea, flow, extension and life". It is an international and comprehensive economic and trade exchange center integrating exhibitions, cultural exchanges and business services. After the project is completed, It has a leading role in promoting the steel structure prefabricated buildings in Weihai, and is of great significance to building a livable city and a smart city.
