The reporter learned from the Cangzhou Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau that this year, Cangzhou has implemented a rural housing quality improvement project to build livable demonstration rural housing in 81 pilot villages in 14 counties (cities, districts). It is expected to be completed before the end of the year.

It is understood that the 81 pilot villages will promote new prefabricated structural systems and green construction methods, and play a leading role in demonstration. The built housing has a local style, modern functions, safe structure, and green environmental protection. For the renovation of existing rural housing, the construction technology with little disturbance, short construction period, low cost and good effect will be applied.

During the construction of livable demonstration rural housing in the pilot villages, the housing and construction department will strengthen the guidance for the improvement of architectural style. Combine with the improvement of the rural living environment and the construction of beautiful villages in Cangzhou, they will carry out the improvement of the architectural style of the village, avoid the use of building materials such as plastics and color steel plates, and promote the improvement of the rural living environment and the overall architectural style of the village.

During the construction of the demonstration sites, relevant departments will strictly implement the systems of rural housing construction control, building structure design, construction craftsman management, and completion acceptance to standardize rural housing construction. In addition, we will take this opportunity to explore the establishment of a village-level housing coordinator system. In principle, each village has 1-2 house building coordinators who are responsible for publicizing house building policies, assisting house building management, and carrying out house safety inspections, so as to ensure the safety of farmers' house construction and use.
