7 days! Shenzhen enterprise builds a modular vaccination center for Hong Kong

A few days ago, Caroline Hill Road Community Vaccination Center in Hong Kong started its service. The community vaccination center is currently the largest vaccination center in private properties in Hong Kong, and can receive thousands of vaccinations every day. The modular construction area is 270 square meters, with 18 vaccination rooms. The project is a prefabricated modular building that took only 7 days from production to completion. It is reported that the center was constructed by CIMC Modular Construction Investment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CIMC Modular Construction) from Shenzhen in cooperation with the general contractor. The venue has been handed over to the government on March 23, 2022, and will be operated on a non-profit basis by the School of Nursing of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University until the end of June. The center is expected to vaccinate 800 to 1,000 people a day, and it can be increased to 3,000 people a day as needed. Roughly calculated, the center will provide vaccination services for hundreds of thousands of people in the surrounding area.

After CIMC Modular Building received the urgent need to build a community vaccination center module for Caroline Hill, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, the team responded quickly and mobilized resources for production and construction. In the end, CIMC Modular Building completed the production and delivery of the prefabricated integrated modules in just 7 days, and sent them to Hong Kong Yau Ma Tei Pier on March 10 for medical staff to vaccinate Hong Kong citizens for emergency use. The module was quickly hoisted after being transported to the Hong Kong site, and the quality inspection and acceptance was completed in only 12 hours.
