New achievements have been made in the development of prefabricated buildings in Yiyuan County, Zibo City, Shandong Province

The traditional construction technology has low production efficiency, slow construction speed, long construction period, high consumption of materials and high labor intensity of workers, which can no longer meet the needs of modern society. Facing the growing demand for construction, it is imperative to optimize the construction industry model as soon as possible. Yiyuan County Housing and Urban-rural Development Bureau conscientiously implements the arrangement and deployment of the county party committee and county government, implements the policies and regulations of prefabricated buildings, vigorously develops prefabricated buildings, and actively promotes the development of prefabricated buildings.

Prefabricated buildings have the following characteristics: First, the design is diversified, which can be designed according to housing requirements; second, the functions are modernized, and a variety of new materials such as energy saving and environmental protection can be used. The third is factory-made manufacturing, which can make building components and parts produced in one go in one go; the fourth is construction and assembly, which can greatly reduce labor and material waste; fifth, time optimization can significantly speed up the construction cycle.

According to the requirements of the "Notice on Printing and Distributing the Key Points of Housing and Urban-Rural Construction in the City in 2021" issued by the Zibo Municipal Bureau of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, prefabricated buildings with a proportion of no less than 16% are considered for new construction. Before the land supply, the housing construction department should clearly stipulate the proportion of prefabricated buildings in the opinion on the construction conditions of the real estate project, and at the same time strengthen the check of the drawing review. The natural resources department should strictly control the process of construction land transfer, allocation, and planning permission; the construction department should strengthen the supervision of design, construction drawing review, construction, and acceptance; the housing pre-sale department should control the pre-sale process.

At present, Yiyuan County has 2 prefabricated parts production component factories. One is Yiyuan County Kunying Building Materials Co., Ltd., with a designed annual production capacity of 60,000 cubic meters and an actual output of 8,000 cubic meters in 2021, mainly producing prefabricated concrete stairs, laminated floors, prefabricated columns, prefabricated beams, and box buildings. A "ji"-shaped connector independently developed by Shandong Hengsheng Building Materials Co., Ltd. has a patent approved and is currently under construction. After it is put into operation, it will have three fully automatic production lines, with an annual production of 1.5 million square meters of formwork-free steel truss floor decks. This can be equivalent to the use of concrete laminated floor slabs, and has the advantages of increasing the effective height of the floor to facilitate installation, and does not need to set up post-casting belts. It will be put into production at the end of April 2022. Yiyuan County Huaxin Building Materials Co., Ltd. invested 5 million in 2021 to build an ALC sheet production line for prefabricated components. The ALC sheet produced by it has the characteristics of light weight, economy, fire resistance, sound insulation, heat insulation, crack resistance and environmental protection, which fills the vacancy of prefabricated components in Yiyuan County.

The use of prefabricated construction methods can comprehensively improve the quality and performance of housing, allowing the people to share the development achievements brought about by scientific and technological progress. Yiyuan County Housing and Urban-rural Development Bureau will make efforts in many aspects, such as resource integration, pilot drive, standard formulation, and strengthening of publicity, to make breakthroughs and upgrades, and take various forms. Vigorously publicize the significance of using prefabricated wallboard parts, improve the awareness among owners, design units, and construction units, popularize the advantages of prefabricated buildings, promote their application in engineering construction, and promote the rapid development of prefabricated buildings in Yiyuan County.
