Recently, Guangzhou Construction's self-developed electrical principle-based grouting fullness detection technology and equipment for prefabricated building sleeves has been successfully applied in key construction projects in Guangdong Province and the first large-scale prefabricated bridge engineering project—project of the southern section of the connecting line between Dongxiaonan Road, Guangzhou and Guangzhou South Railway Station in Guangdong Province.

After 3 years of research and development, this core technology and equipment has successfully broken through the limitations of existing sleeve grouting quality testing methods. It is different from the commonly used detection methods such as embedded sensor method, embedded wire drawing method and X-ray imaging method, and has the technical advantages of timely and accurate detection results and efficient on-site operation. And the inspection cost is only one-twentieth of the cost of similar technologies, which can realize rapid and full inspection of sleeve grouting, and provide reliable quality supervision means for the healthy and orderly development of current prefabricated construction technology.
At present, the core technology and equipment have been identified as "the research results have generally reached the international leading level", and 7 national patents have been applied for. The research results have been incorporated into the Guangdong Province "Technical Standards for Durability of Prefabricated Building Concrete Structures", and have passed the inspection and testing capability certification of the Guangdong Provincial Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, and have been included in the CMA (China Metrology Certification) testing qualification parameters.
