Elevator installation in Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, fully prefabricated design is recommended

In order to implement the "support for the renovation and installation of elevators in old communities" mentioned in the government work report, and to further improve people's livelihood, the reporter learned from the Yangzhou Municipal Bureau of Housing and Urban-rural Development on April 6 that the "General Plan for the Installation of Elevators in Existing Multi-storey Residences" compiled by the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Jiangsu Province was implemented on March 15, providing guidelines for the installation of elevators in Yangzhou.

The "Plan" aims at improving the use function of existing multi-storey residences, and improving the living quality and urban style, aiming at the problems such as the inconsistency of the appearance of the building in the current installation of elevators in existing residences, carry out research on the façade design, parts and components and engineering practices, architecture, structure, electromechanical equipment, overall integration and other related technologies of elevator installation, and adapt to the current situation of various projects with general methods, which is conducive to implementation. The "Plan" recommends a fully prefabricated design, encourages prefabrication and assembly construction in the whole factory except for the foundation, and provides optional vertical greening, solar lighting and other innovative module designs to create green demonstration projects. The reporter saw in Wenkangyuan, which started the pilot project of retrofitting and installing elevators in old residential areas earlier in the urban area, that the fully prefabricated design and installation of elevators has been promoted.
