Jiangsu Province held a construction industry modernization work promotion meeting to deploy key tasks in 2022

On March 15, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development held a meeting to promote the modernization of the construction industry to study and deploy key tasks in 2022. Deputy Director Liu Dawei attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

Liu Dawei pointed out that 2022 is a key year for advancing the modernization development goal of the construction industry during the "14th Five-Year Plan". All relevant departments and units should coordinate and make solid progress in policy guidance, standard formulation, quality control, project demonstration, etc., so as to lay the foundation for the realization of the "dual carbon" goal.

He emphasized that in the next step, all offices and units should combine their own functions, find the right entry point, and actively promote the pilot demonstration and application of prefabricated construction technology in related fields. Carry out research on the standardized application of parts and components as soon as possible, and form research results to guide engineering practice; make it clear that prefabricated decoration is an important supplement to prefabricated buildings, and continue to promote related work.

At the meeting, the Office of the Joint Conference on Promotion of Construction Industry Modernization of Jiangsu Province reported the modernization work of the construction industry in 2021 and introduced the preliminary work plan for 2022. 26 relevant departments and directly affiliated units reported the completion of work in 2021 and the work plan for 2022 respectively around the division of responsibilities.
