As of the end of August, Liaoning Province had newly started prefabricated construction area of 802.68 million square meters

On September 15, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development recognized 18 cities across the country as the second batch of prefabricated construction demonstration cities, among which Dalian, Liaoning Province. At the same time, six companies including Shenyang Zhaohuan Modern Building Components Co., Ltd. were recognized as the second batch of prefabricated construction industry bases in the country.

Liaoning Province attaches great importance to the development of prefabricated buildings and issued the "Implementation Opinions on Vigorously Developing Prefabricated Buildings" in 2017. It is proposed that by the end of 2020, the province's prefabricated buildings will account for more than 15% of the newly built building area; by the end of 2025, the province's prefabricated buildings will account for more than 30% of the newly built building area. This year, the provincial government issued the “Opinions on Promoting High-Quality Development of the Construction Industry”, which proposed that each region should clarify the requirements for the proportion of prefabricated buildings, assembly rates, and evaluation levels in the planning conditions of land for the construction of new civil buildings and the construction conditions of projects, formulate corresponding incentive policies, and include them in the performance assessment objectives of the provincial government for the provincial Department of Housing and Construction and each municipality.

The Housing and Urban-Rural Development Department of Liaoning Province has taken various measures simultaneously, making every effort to implement the four systems of innovative technology, cultivating the market, improving supervision, and strengthening scientific research, and accelerate the implementation of prefabricated construction projects. As of the end of August, the province's newly started prefabricated construction area this year is 8,026,800 square meters, accounting for 17% of the newly built construction area; there are 88 manufacturers of prefabricated parts and components in production and under construction in the province, with 149 production lines. After Shenyang, Dalian has been recognized as a national prefabricated building demonstration city. Twelve companies including Dalian Sanchuan Construction Group were selected as the national prefabricated construction industry base.
