Wuxi Metro starts construction of the first prefabricated building police station

The first-phase project of Wuxi Metro Line 4 Expo Center Station Police Station Project, the main structure adopts prefabricated components, and the assembly rate reaches 55.2%. It is the first prefabricated building police station project started by Wuxi Metro. On the morning of March 3, 2022, the project was officially launched under the witness of Wuxi Metro, the Traffic and Public Security Branch of Wuxi Public Security Bureau and other participating parties.

At the exchange meeting before the start of the project, all parties involved in the project made detailed reports on the preparations before the start of the project. The first-phase project of Wuxi Metro Line 4 Expo Center Station Police Station Project is constructed in the area south of Zhenze Road, east of Gonghu Avenue, west of Nanhu Avenue and north of Qingyan Road in Economic Development Zone. The main structure adopts prefabricated components, and the assembly rate reaches 55.2%. It is the first prefabricated police station project started by Wuxi Metro.

Li Guolong, Secretary of the Party General Branch and Director of the Traffic and Public Security Branch of Wuxi Public Security Bureau, said that the construction of the Expo Center Station Police Station Project will play an important role in maintaining the safety and stability of the subway, serving the economic development of the subway, and safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of passengers. The Traffic Public Security Bureau will continue to maintain contact with Wuxi Metro. During the process, it will strengthen the communication of project construction needs and the connection of plans, and jointly create a modern police office environment. It is reported that the police station project of the first phase of Wuxi Metro Line 4 Project Expo Center Station covers a total area of 1985 square meters, and the office building has a construction area of about 1840 square meters. The project obtained the construction permit on February 21, 2022, and its construction includes a new 3-story office building on the ground and supporting outdoor ancillary works.
