"After the resettlement house is completed, our living environment is better! The facilities are more complete! We can't wait to move in quickly." Sister Hong, a villager in Xiaobu Village, Huadu District, Guangzhou City, couldn't hide her expectations for the reporter.

On November 26, the first batch of model communities in the resettlement area of the third-phase expansion project of Baiyun Airport was officially opened. As the red curtain on the lobby door of the resettlement house slowly opened, the relocated villagers saw the appearance of their future home for the first time. After that, the project will open the model community regularly every month, so that you can see the style of the new home.

40 towers topped out

It is reported that the third-phase expansion project of Baiyun Airport is a national key transportation hub project for Guangzhou to implement the requirements of the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Plan" to "build a world-class airport cluster". The requisition and resettlement scope covers 3 administrative districts and 9 streets (towns) of Baiyun District, Huadu District and Tianhe District, with a total area of about 34.28 square kilometers and 62,000 villagers to be relocated.

On June 28, 2020, the construction of the resettlement area start-up area started, setting a precedent that the resettlement area in the country was earlier than the main project construction. On December 31 of that year, the first batch of resettlement houses in the Longkou-Xiaobu resettlement area were capped. The project has achieved the phased results of "project approval in the same year, construction in the same year, and capping in the same year".

As of November 26 this year, the start-up area of the resettlement area has completed the capping of 40 towers. The model community opened this time is the Longkou-Xiaobu resettlement area project in the third phase of Baiyun Airport of China Construction Fourth Engineering Bureau. This community is the first resettlement area built in the third-phase expansion project of Baiyun Airport, and it is also the first model community where the main structure has been capped and the first open model community.

"The resettlement house only started construction in June last year. I didn't expect to see the model community so soon, and I'm still very excited. Just walking along the way, the garden construction road is flat and clean, the green landscape is rich in layers, the resettlement houses are widely spaced, and the environment is very good. I also like the layout of the resettlement house, which is square and practical. " said the representative of the relocated villagers.

The voice of the masses reflects the intention of the construction unit in the construction of the project. The model community takes "modern Lingnan, mountains and rivers" as the overall planning concept, adapts measures to local conditions, makes full use of the base and surrounding topography, strives to integrate the overall planning with the surrounding landscape, inherits the regional cultural characteristics of Lingnan, and creates a comfortable ecological Lingnan landscape settlement.

In the layout design of the resettlement houses, the overall design principles of "dynamic and static partitions, reasonable functions, compact space, and separation of clean and dirty" are followed, emphasizing the comfort, practicability and adaptability of the living space. According to Yang Jianshuang, the production manager of the Longkou-Xiaobu resettlement area of China Construction Fourth Bureau, the floor area on the floor plan is marked by the usable area inside the set. "At present, there are three apartment types, 110 square meters, 140 square meters and 65 square meters respectively, with two ladders and five households. At present, the progress of the five buildings has basically completed more than 90% of the fine decoration."

In order to improve the standardization of project construction, ensure construction quality, and achieve cost reduction and efficiency increase, the project also introduces advanced prefabricated building construction technology, and the assembly rate of the start-up area in the resettlement area exceeds 50%. It is worth mentioning that the plot of the nursing home in the Longkou-Xiaobu resettlement area is constructed using the "PPEFF system" (China Construction Rapid Assembly Frame System), which meets the requirements of the national standard for prefabricated buildings. It is the first "PPEFF system" demonstration project in Guangdong Province, and it is also the largest project in the country among the "PPEFF system" projects that have been built.
