The hoisting of the main body of the first prefabricated civil building in Changshu City, Jiangsu Province was completed

A few days ago, the first prefabricated civil building in Changshu, Baowu (Changshu) Leadership Development Center, completed the hoisting of the main structure of the improvement project.

After design review and calculation, the single prefabricated assembly rate of this project is as high as 92%, which is the prefabricated civil building with the highest single prefabricated assembly rate so far in Changshu. After completion, it will become a landmark business card of Changshu City, and play a demonstration role of point-to-point.

The project adopts green building technical measures such as modular building, prefabricated decoration, and ultra-low energy consumption. It is China Baowu's first modular box-type steel structure prefabricated building project in China that has undergone the whole process of approval procedures including project establishment, planning permit, construction drawing review, bidding, construction permit, quality and safety supervision, and completion acceptance.

Since the start of the project, the Construction Management Office of the Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, the Quality Supervision Station and other relevant units have carried out technical service guidance and supervision on site layout, lifting and hoisting, quality and safety, etc., to ensure the rapid and smooth progress of the project. With the close cooperation of all parties, it took only 22 days for the project to obtain the construction permit from December 20, 2021 to the completion of the 4-story main structure on January 10, 2022, of which 177 boxes in the main structure were hoisted in only 3 days. Compared with the traditional construction method, the construction period is greatly shortened.

It mainly includes prefabricated concrete structures, steel structures, modern wooden structures, etc., and adopts standardized design, factory production, assembly construction and other building industrial production methods. Prefabricated buildings have the advantages of fast construction progress, energy saving and environmental protection, and low cost.
