Guizhou: Increasing the proportion of prefabricated buildings to boost green development

From the perspective of the entire market environment, the proportion of prefabricated buildings is constantly increasing; from the perspective of policy support, his relevant suggestions were adopted in the "Implementation Plan for Accelerating the Development of Prefabricated Buildings in Guiyang City" issued at the beginning of this year.

"Prefabricated buildings transfer a large number of on-site operations in the traditional construction process to the factory, process them into components and transport them to the construction site for assembly." Xiao Shengqian introduced that the use of standardized design, factory production, assembly construction, information management, and intelligent application mode can effectively realize the integration of civil engineering, compared with traditional construction methods. It can reduce the discharge of construction waste by 70%, reduce the consumption of traditional building materials such as water, wood, cement mortar, etc., and can also solve the phenomenon of "dirty, messy and poor" construction sites.

Xiao Shenggan pays special attention to the industrial development situation in the province. In 2018, Guizhou took the lead in proposing "determining production with slag" nationwide to speed up the consumption of phosphogypsum. After Xiao Shengqian learned about this situation, he organized a professional team to invest in the R&D and production of phosphogypsum building materials. Today, his company cooperates with a number of phosphorus chemical companies in the province to jointly promote green development.
