On January 12, the reporter learned from the Hefei Urban and Rural Construction Bureau that in 2021, the city's newly started prefabricated buildings will cover an area of over 10 million square meters, accounting for 24.8% of the new buildings, and the newly started prefabricated buildings will increase by 56.8% year-on-year. The prefabricated housing projects have grown significantly. In 2021, the area of newly constructed prefabricated commercial housing projects in the city will increase by 135% year-on-year. The construction scale of prefabricated buildings is increasing year by year.

Recently, the delivery of Yuxiu Yayuan Community in Xinzhan High-tech Zone marks that another large-scale prefabricated residential project in Hefei is about to be put into use, and teachers of Xinzhan District Vocational Education City begin to move in with bags.

The total construction area of the project is about 270,000 square meters. All residential buildings adopt prefabricated construction technology. The prefabricated assembly rate is over 60%, and the interior decoration standard is delivered. In the process of project construction, the advantages of industrialization and informatization of prefabricated buildings have been brought into full play, combined with informatization technologies such as smart construction sites and BIM. It has successively won awards such as "National AAA Construction Site", "National Green Construction Construction Level Evaluation Two-Star", "Anhui Province Prefabricated Building Demonstration Project", "MCC Construction New Technology Application Demonstration Project", "National BIM Longtu Cup Second Prize" and other awards. Completed 16 invention patents, 1 provincial and ministerial-level construction method and other technological innovations, and actively promoted the high-quality development of prefabricated buildings.

In addition, a batch of prefabricated affordable housing projects such as Lotus Pond Home, Hongling Garden, Longwang Tanggang, Splendid Caigang and Xindian Garden will also be delivered one after another.
