Hainan Province's first prefabricated stadium put into use

The Danzhou Sports Center project, the main venue for the 6th Hainan Games in 2022, was recently completed and put into use, 210 days ahead of schedule.

According to reports, the project is the first completed prefabricated stadium in Hainan, located in the Eastern New District of Danzhou City, Hainan Province. The construction area is 101,800 square meters, mainly including a stadium with 30,000 seats, a gymnasium with more than 5,000 seats and a swimming pool with nearly 1,000 seats.

It is understood that the 6th Hainan Provincial Games will be held in Danzhou from August 19 to August 30, 2022. The completion and commissioning of the project will help this year's Hainan Provincial Games to be a comprehensive sports event for all people to participate in and benefit from, and promote the coordinated development of competitive sports, mass sports and sports industry in Hainan Free Trade Port.
