In the south of Xiaohe New Town in Nange Village, Beige Town, Xiaodian District, the south and north buildings of the middle group of Xiaohe International Convention and Exhibition Center were capped as scheduled. There are 5,000 international standard booths here. After completion, the convention and exhibition center will become an international professional exhibition hall that can undertake international, high-end and professional large-scale exhibitions. What's new about this "green building", new technologies, and new craftsmanship? A few days ago, the reporter came to the project construction site to find out.

"Butterfly" Dancing

When the car passed by Nange Village, Xiaodian District, the eyes suddenly became bright, the road was clean and tidy, and there were various trees planted on both sides of the road. The reporter walked into the construction site of the Xiaohe International Convention and Exhibition Center project in Xiaohe New City and saw a busy scene everywhere. In the distance, towering tower cranes kept spinning, stacks of wooden boards and bundles of steel bars were hoisted to the workbench, and the roar of mechanical equipment could be heard endlessly.

Xiaohe New Town is the largest development zone in Shanxi Province and the largest industrial-city integration park in the province, spanning four districts and counties: Xiaodian, Qingxu, Yuci and Taigu. Xiaohe New City has a total planned area of 9.29 square kilometers, a construction area of about 9.82 million square meters, and an investment of over 50 billion yuan, covering conferences, exhibitions, financial business, culture and art and other functions. Xiaohe International Convention and Exhibition Center is an important part of Xiaohe New Town. It covers an area of 765.9 mu and has a total investment of 3.923 billion yuan. It consists of three groups: north, middle and south.

The middle group is the hub project of Xiaohe International Convention and Exhibition Center, like a giant butterfly about to spread its wings. At the construction site, red, yellow, blue and green flags fluttered in the wind. Liu Jilai, chairman of Shanxi Xiaohe International Convention and Exhibition Center Co., Ltd., said that after the completion of the convention and exhibition center, it will undertake high-quality professional exhibitions, introduce exhibition brands, and host international and domestic new industry and new technology summit forums, and become a professional venue for displaying new technologies, new products and new achievements at home and abroad.

After the project is completed, it will effectively make up for the shortage of the scale of Shanxi exhibition venues. Guided by "exhibition +", explore the fields of "exhibition + commerce", "exhibition + tourism" and "exhibition + culture", and promote the effective integration of exhibitions with commerce, tourism and culture. Photovoltaic + Free Charging Pile

Talking about the application of green building in Xiaohe International Convention and Exhibition Center, Liu Jilai introduced that it is mainly reflected in material saving, water saving, energy saving, land saving, environmental protection, etc. For example, the recycling rate of building material packaging has reached 100%, and the allocation rate of water-saving equipment, facilities and energy-saving lamps has also reached 100%.

According to the planning and design, a group on the north side of Xiaohe International Convention and Exhibition Center will build a sunken green space of 7878.92 square meters and a supporting rainwater storage tank of 1800 cubic meters. 80% of the concentrated rainwater can be fully recycled. The utilization rate of non-traditional water sources of municipal reclaimed water and recycled rainwater reaches 30%, which is used for road watering, green sprinkler irrigation and toilet flushing.

Liu Jilai said that the current domestic green building evaluation standards are divided into three stars, 50 points for a one-star green building, 60 points for a two-star rating, and 80 points for a three-star rating. The north, middle and south groups of Xiaohe International Convention and Exhibition Center all meet the two-star requirements.

The Convention and Exhibition Center also builds an energy island as an energy station in the project land, using the mid-deep geothermal heat to provide cold and heat sources for heating and cooling. The roof of the group on the north side adopts distributed solar photovoltaic technology, and 68,607 square meters of photovoltaic panels are installed for photovoltaic power generation. The roof of the group on the north side is equipped with solar power panels, and adopts a DC or AC-DC hybrid power distribution system for the use of electric vehicle charging piles. "Photovoltaic + free charging piles" has become a highlight of the project.

Components can be Reused Multiple Times

"The construction project of the center is huge, but with advanced technology and equipment, our construction speed is many times faster than before..." Liu Jilai stood in front of the project command department of the exhibition center and pointed to the project schematic diagram.

Compared with the traditional construction method, another highlight of Xiaohe International Convention and Exhibition Center is the prefabricated steel structure. The prefabricated steel structure has good seismic performance, light weight, convenient disassembly and assembly of connecting components, and can be used multiple times, which greatly improves labor productivity and effectively reduces product costs.

The north group and the south group are AA-level prefabricated buildings. The partition walls in the building are made of ALC wall panels. Li Dongchi, the person in charge of the construction site, said that ALC wallboard is a new type of green building material, which has the characteristics of high strength, good thermal insulation performance, good sound insulation effect and excellent fire resistance performance, energy saving and environmental protection, convenient installation and strong site adaptability.

Li Dongchi said: "Our exterior walls use high-performance energy-saving windows with three glass and two hollows filled with argon gas. The interior is equipped with a fresh air heat recovery device to minimize building energy consumption."

According to the arrangement of the construction progress, before the end of November this year, the main structure projects of the three groups in the north, middle and south will be completed, and the roofing, curtain wall and other projects will be advanced simultaneously to ensure full completion in 2022.

Minimal Environmental Load

The warm sun in winter is slanting on the construction site of Xiaohe International Convention and Exhibition Center. Soon, this construction project marked with "green" symbols will also lift the veil of mystery.

What are the main differences between green buildings and traditional ordinary buildings? Liu Jilai explained that green buildings make full use of natural resources, such as green space, sunlight, air, etc., pay attention to the effective connection between the inside and outside, and the layout is more open. At the same time, improve the quality of space and improve the quality of the indoor environment by controlling temperature, humidity, and isolating noise. Green buildings generate minimal direct environmental load and minimize the consumption of non-renewable energy, land, water and materials.

In terms of low energy consumption, Xiaohe International Convention and Exhibition Center applies clean energy technologies such as solar photovoltaic systems and mid-deep non-interference geothermal systems to achieve the "five constant spaces" of constant temperature, constant humidity, constant oxygen, constant static and constant cleanliness. "In such a space, the human body feels very comfortable."

In terms of extending the life of buildings, BIM technology is widely used in the design, construction and operation stages. Fan Bin, the on-site person in charge of Shanxi Xiaohe International Convention and Exhibition Center Co., Ltd., introduced that the BIM technology of building information model is an engineering data model based on three-dimensional technology to integrate project information. This technology utilizes three-dimensional synchronous design drawings, which can find unreasonable places in the design and modify them in advance to ensure the design quality. Starting from the building structure system, peripheral protection system, interior installation system, equipment and pipeline system, etc., the management of the whole life cycle of the project is realized, while ensuring the structural safety, it also improves the assembly efficiency and construction accuracy.

In the context of "double carbon", the construction of Xiaohe International Convention and Exhibition Center has pressed the "fast forward button".
