The prefabricated construction industry in Hefei City, Anhui Province has developed rapidly recently

On the morning of September 5, the sun was blazing. In the production base of Hefei Meihao Zhizao Assembly House Co., Ltd., building prefabricated components such as laminated floor slabs, stairs, and load-bearing walls are raised high. A few kilometers away, the foundation construction of the Hefei Circular Economy Demonstration Park Business Center and Talent Apartment Project is in full swing.

"This batch of house prefabricated components has just been maintained and will be transported to the construction site of the Hefei Circular Economy Demonstration Park Business Center and Talent Apartment Project in a few days for the main construction." Deputy Factory Director Hu Yong said with a smile on his face this year. The order has been 10,000 cubic meters, which has greatly exceeded last year's order volume.

Two years ago, taking the opportunity of the World Manufacturing Conference, the Hefei Meihao Green Prefabricated Building Production Base Project under Meihao Property Group was formally signed and settled in Hefei Circular Economy Demonstration Park. Since its official production in July 2019, it has successfully completed production orders for two real estate development and construction projects in Nanjing City and Jiangyin City. Immediately afterwards, the company continued to undertake two major projects in Hefei, namely the business center and talent apartment of Hefei Circular Economy Demonstration Park, and Yunxi Community, Yungu Road, Feixi County. At present, in the factory workshop, two fully automated production lines imported from Germany are running at full capacity to step up production.

When entering the production workshop, all kinds of heavy production equipment come into view. It is understood that the company has purchased a total of 6513 sets (sets) of large and small production equipment, forming 2 fully automated production lines in Germany and 1 fixed production line, with an annual production capacity of up to 300,000 cubic meters.

"Compared with ordinary prefabricated building component production equipment, the two production lines in front of us are expensive, but they have their own unique advantages." Hu Yong introduced. The production line is equipped with mold support and mold removal robots, etc., and the degree of automation is greatly improved. The large workshop only needs more than 50 workers to control it; molds can be reused, which greatly saves production costs; production and quality are controlled throughout the process, and green and pollution-free... 

Prefabricated buildings are like building a house by "building blocks". Compared with traditional construction methods, it saves time, effort, energy and environmental protection. In recent years, our city has vigorously promoted prefabricated construction technology, and successively introduced high-quality foreign companies such as Yuanda Housing Industry Group to settle in; cultivated a number of local prefabricated construction companies such as Anhui Honglu Steel Structure (Group) Co., Ltd. At present, the city's prefabricated construction industry cluster has initially formed, and the scale benefits are obvious. "The development of Hefei prefabricated buildings started early and has a good foundation. Whether it is its architectural development model, building volume and quality, or its manufacturing support capabilities, standard and normative system construction, all have outstanding characteristics and provide enterprises with a good development Platform." Hu Yong said.

It is worth mentioning that our city issued the "Implementation Opinions on Further Promoting the Development of Construction Industrialization" last year. Beginning in 2020, all residential buildings such as affordable housing, talent apartments, and government-invested public buildings with a construction area of more than 100,000 square meters must apply prefabricated construction technology. It is planned that by 2025, the city's prefabricated buildings will account for more than 30% of the newly built building area, and the total output value of the construction industry chain will reach more than 200 billion yuan.
