On April 21, the construction technology of the prefabricated bridge deck system is being applied on a large scale at the construction site of the Guinan High-speed Railway 5 standard of the China Railway Fourth Bureau in Dushan County, Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province. As the first project of the National Railway Group to promote the application of the prefabricated bridge deck system on the whole line, the Guizhou section of the Guinan Railway has actively promoted the comprehensive application of the new technology of prefabricated construction in railway engineering.

The construction of the prefabricated bridge deck system is another railway construction technology innovation following the prefabricated assembly process of the segment beams. It adopts modern industrial production methods such as standardized design, factory production, assembly construction, and information management. Compared with traditional processes, it has the characteristics of high efficiency, controllable quality, controllable construction period, and green environmental protection.

In order to ensure the orderly progress of the construction of the prefabricated bridge deck system, the project has solidly carried out key technical breakthroughs in the prefabrication and assembly construction of the prefabricated bridge deck system. Through the process test, the design optimization of the construction drawing was carried out, which fundamentally solved the problem of the appearance quality of the prefabricated components with missing edges and corners, and made special lifting tooling to further improve the quality of demoulding. On-site assembly and construction use special construction tooling, prefabricated special elevation adjustment blocks, self-leveling mortar equipped with low-speed mixing barrels, and multiple measures to improve installation quality and linearity.

The project is the first to implement the prefabrication and installation assembly line construction operation of the prefabricated bridge deck system in the Guizhou section of the Guinan Railway, which also plays a leading role in the whole line.
