On April 13, the Zhuankou Liucun project of the China Construction Third Engineering Group Co., Ltd. ushered in a unique labor competition. The launching meeting of the labor and skills competition for 10,000 employees in Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone to "learn the party's history, listen to the party's words, make contributions to the "14th Five-Year Plan", and build a new car valley" officially kicked off in the project.

It is understood that the Zhuankou Liucun project, as the main battlefield of this labor competition, successfully achieved the speed of "one floor in three days" in June last year, which refreshed the new speed of prefabricated buildings in the country in one fell swoop. As the largest prefabricated housing project in Central China, the project has a total construction area of 803,000 square meters and an assembly rate of 56.2%. There are 29 residential buildings in total. After completion, it will provide affordable housing for 5,681 residents. At present, the main structure of Zhuankou Liucun project has been fully capped and has entered the stage of decoration.

At the beginning of the project, the project department actively explored and innovated, and adhered to the construction concept of "efficient, intelligent and green" in the implementation process. The project is constructed in the way of prefabricated buildings. First, "components" such as beams, wall panels, laminated floors, stairs, and balconies are produced in the factory, and then transported to the construction site to be assembled like building blocks. Compared with the traditional cast-in-place construction method, it reduces on-site wet operation, reduces dust, reduces construction waste, and effectively reduces construction quality problems such as leakage, hollowing, and cracking.

"We have introduced a climbing construction platform, which is the first time it has been used on the project site in Central China. It is mainly used for safety protection and façade construction. It can be lifted and lowered at any time, with a speed of 5.6 meters per minute. Compared with the traditional climbing frame, each level of lifting can save 2-3 hours." Introduced by the on-site technical director.

The project widely uses BIM technology to build a 3D model, comprehensively considers steel bars, reserved openings, lifting points, diagonal brace anchors, aluminum mold screw openings, and construction measures hole reservations in the 3D model, and issues detailed processing drawings of components. During the construction phase of the project, BIM technology was used to conduct pre-assembly tests on prefabricated components, to discover and solve problems such as errors, omissions, and defects in advance, further improving the design quality, effectively avoiding the risk of rework, and saving nearly 1/5 of the construction period.

"Our project department has successively held provincial-level observation meetings and national-level observation meetings, welcoming more than a thousand experts and scholars from inside and outside the industry to observe the project." The person in charge of the project of China Construction Third Engineering Bureau said that at the same time, the project strengthens on-site safe and civilized construction, compacts the safety management responsibilities of all parties, and actively creates a garden-like construction site.
