Anhui Province launches pilot projects for smart housing demonstration projects

Recently, the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Anhui Province, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, and the Provincial Department of Economics and Information Technology jointly issued the "Notice on Promoting the Integrated Development of Smart Home Appliances and the Housing Industry." Clearly carry out pilot projects for the construction of smart residential demonstration projects, and promote the extension of the smart home appliance (home) industry chain to residential buildings. By the end of 2025, the province will build no less than 10,000 sets of standardized demonstration houses for smart home complete systems, covering a residential area of about 1 million square meters.

The temperature, humidity, etc. in the house are controlled through App, the intelligent security system is patrolled for 24 hours, and the intelligent vehicle identification system prevents strange vehicles from passing through the community... With the development of the Internet of Things technology, smart houses allow owners to enjoy a more comfortable and convenient living environment. This year, Anhui Province has listed the smart home appliance industry as one of the ten emerging industries that will be developed during the 14th Five-Year Plan period in order to promote the integrated development of smart home appliances (home) and the residential industry and improve the quality of residential housing. The "Notice" encourages real estate companies to use mature, advanced and applicable new technologies on the basis of reasonable cost control, and to rationally configure various intelligent complete sets of equipment.

In about 5 years, we will build a batch of smart residential demonstration projects in the province, explore and summarize a set of smart residential design, integration, construction, delivery and sales experience that is in line with local reality, and promote it in a comprehensive way. At the same time, it is required to incorporate the construction of smart houses into the management of fully-decorated houses, carry out the demonstration of smart home application scenarios, and strengthen the construction of smart house communication systems.

In terms of policy support, Anhui Province will support prefabricated construction companies to develop smart residential products, support banking financial institutions to optimize credit procedures, determine interest rates reasonably, and provide credit support for consumers to purchase smart residential buildings. Strive for the establishment of a standard system and related policy systems for the integrated development of smart home appliances (home) and residences by the end of 2025, and the promotion mechanism is initially sound. By the end of 2027, the standard system and related policies and systems for the integration of smart home appliances (home) and housing will be improved. Newly built fully-decorated houses and community supporting facilities have communication connectivity capabilities and necessary smart products. Smart housing has been generally accepted, the province’s commercial housing market has accelerated its iteration, and the quality of living has improved significantly.
